Head of the Judiciary: We should not let people's trust be damaged on various issues
Speaking at a brainstorming session with elected representatives of non-governmental banks, Mohseni Ejei, while referring to the important and influential role of the banking system in facilitating economic growth, stated: Today, economic issues are among the country's main priorities, and all sectors and institutions, including the banking system, must achieve coordination and synergy in this regard.
The head of the judiciary said: "Our belief and determination is that in order to overcome economic issues and problems, we must give the private sector a platform; in this regard, the outlook and vision of society, including the people and rulers, towards the capabilities and capabilities of the private sector needs to change; to achieve this, the actors and managers in the private sector themselves must be pioneers and show their capacities."
The head of the judiciary stated: We believe that members and activists of the private sector should be systematically informed of government decisions and approvals that directly or indirectly affect their work and professional processes, and even be consulted by decision-makers; in this regard, we, for our part in the judiciary, announce that we are ready to design a mechanism so that activists and actors in this sector are systematically consulted when approving approvals or drafting circulars that are somehow related to the private sector.
The Chief Justice stated: You, representatives of non-governmental banks and in general, managers and stakeholders of the country's banking system, and of course all managers of the system, must strive to increase public trust and focus your efforts on this issue; Without a doubt, the tarnishing of the credibility of the institutions and the damage to the people's trust will have consequences for the system. One of the most important ways to prevent the tarnishing of the people's trust in the banking system is for bank managers to exercise continuous supervision over their subordinates and, by conducting detailed inspections, prevent the occurrence of corruption and violations in their subordinates.
The head of the judiciary said: Clarification should also be on the agenda of managers and those involved in the country's banking system; sometimes an item or file regarding a banking issue is formed in the minds of the people that does not correspond to reality, and opponents also use it as an excuse to blacken it; here, managers and those involved in the country's banking system should intervene and explain the issues and topics clearly.
Referring to the banking system's obligations in various categories, the head of the judiciary said: "In decisions and resolutions made at macro levels, all existing aspects and surroundings of the issue should be examined and taken into account, and we should not make a decision by focusing solely on one aspect and dimension, thereby facing problems in other dimensions and aspects."
