Iran condemns Zionist regime's crime of burning Kamal Advan Hospital
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' spokesperson, Ismail Baghaei, denounced the Israeli soldiers' ruthless assault on Kamal Adwan Hospital and its subsequent burning as the most recent instance of a war crime, a crime against humanity, and a flagrant breach of international law and standards. Baghaei said the crime was committed with the intention of destroying Gaza's healthcare system entirely and denying women, children, and sick and injured men access to even the most basic medical care.
Kamal Adwan Hospital was one of the last semi-operational medical facilities in northern Gaza, according to the Foreign Ministry spokesman, who also noted that the occupation forces' attack on the hospital, the forced evacuation of patients and medical personnel, and the bombing of the hospital were all considered heinous war crimes and part of the ongoing genocide in occupied Palestine. The spokesman also stressed that the relevant international institutions are held internationally responsible for their silence regarding this crime.
