Revealing the role of Netanyahu's wife in intimidating witnesses
Among the complaints are attempts to harass legal representatives and opponents of the Netanyahu family, as well as to intimidate a witness in the prime minister's criminal trial.
The Times of Israel states that there are jail sentences of up to three and seven years for witness intimidation and testimony subversion.
According to messages from Hanni Bleiweiss, a former aide to Benjamin Netanyahu, which were included in the Uvda report, Sara Netanyahu and the prime minister's son conspired to target protesters, discredit political rivals, and sway his corruption trial in an attempt to reward police officers who cooperated.
Bleiweiss reportedly received instructions from Sara Netanyahu to organize Likud activists to harass their neighbors for opposing the prime minister.
Additionally, Uvda claims that WhatsApp messages from Bleiweiss's phone showed that Sara also gave activists instructions to harass and stage protests near Hadas Klein's home prior to or during her court appearance. Klein is a crucial witness in one of Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption cases.
The report further revealed she ordered similar intimidation tactics against former Israeli Attorney General, Avichai Mandelblit, and Deputy State Attorney, Liat Ben Ari.
