Israel's record in killing children in a single day

On the second day of the resumption of the brutal attacks of the Zionist regime's army against the Gaza Strip, the regime's warplanes are still bombing various areas of the strip.
This morning, Palestinian media reported that the Zionist army's warplanes attacked a refugee camp on Abedin Street west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and announced that 4 civilians were martyred and a number were injured during this attack.
Also, during another attack by the Zionist warplanes on Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip this morning, the number of martyrs increased to 10 people.
In southern Gaza City, three Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in a bombardment of a house in the Sabra neighborhood.
According to reports, the occupying army’s fighter jets and helicopters have repeatedly targeted refugee camps in various areas of Gaza, including Al-Mawasi in the west of Khan Yunis and West of Rafah, resulting in the martyrdom of a number of civilians, including women and children.
In addition, the occupying army’s artillery shelled the eastern areas of Al-Bureij camp, and Israeli drones opened fire east of the Shuja’iyah neighborhood.
Local sources reported airstrikes on southern and central Gaza, including targeting a house in the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
The occupiers also bombed a house in Deir al-Bayh in the center of the Gaza Strip, and the number of victims in this attack is still unknown.
The death toll from the latest round of Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to around 440 since yesterday, with hundreds more injured.
Meanwhile, Catherine Russell, Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), said that the latest Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip have led to the largest number of children killed in a single day. Information and images coming from Gaza show the horrific extent of the child crisis in Gaza, with reports indicating the killing of hundreds, including more than 130 children, in just a few hours since Tuesday morning, the highest number of child deaths in a single day.
The UNICEF official stressed: "The recent Israeli attacks on Gaza targeted temporary shelters where children and families were sleeping. This incident is yet another reminder of the terrible reality: that there is no safe place in Gaza." Repeated attacks and denial of humanitarian aid have increased the risks to the lives of children in Gaza, and it has been 16 days since the last truckload of humanitarian aid entered Gaza.
She added: "Today, one million children in the Gaza Strip, who have endured the pain and suffering of a horrific war for more than 15 months, face a world of fear and death. The violent attacks on Gaza must stop immediately, and we call on all parties to respect international humanitarian law, allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza immediately, and protect civilians."
