Number of journalists martyred in Khan Yunis increases

Ahmed Mansour, a Palestinian journalist who was seriously injured in yesterday's Zionist regime airstrike on a journalists' tent in Khan Yunis, Gaza, was martyred.
According to Al Jazeera, Ahmed Mansour was martyred this morning at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis due to severe injuries and burns.
Yesterday, the Zionist regime bombed the tent where journalists were stationed near the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.
As a result of this atrocities, two journalists, Helmi al-Faqawi and Yousef al-Khazndar, and at least six others were injured.
Ahmed Mansour was among the journalists present in the aforementioned tent who suffered severe burns.
Social media posted horrific images of the crime, showing Ahmed Mansour burning alive after a bomb hit a journalists' tent near the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis early Monday morning.
Middle East Eye correspondent Ahmed Aziz, who was a witness to the strike, reported that those in the tent "tried desperately to rescue Ahmed Mansour from the flames, but there were no resources available, as the sponge, wood, and nylon in the tent quickly caught fire."
Abed Shaat, a journalist who survived the attack, told Middle East Eye that around 3am, an Israeli strike hit the tent where journalists were known to be staying, without any prior warning.
“The tent was known to everyone as one for journalists, this confirms that this was a targeted attack on journalists,” Shaat stressed.
The death toll of journalists in Gaza has climbed to 211, according to the Government Media Office, following the killing of journalist Ahmed Mansour.
"We call on all media organisations around the world to condemn the occupation’s systematic crimes against journalists in the Gaza Strip," the office said.
