Eslami: The adversaries do not want Iran to exploit the JCPOA's tenth year
Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, stated on Wednesday, January 9, at the 14th International Conference on Technology Management and Innovation of Iran: In the nuclear field, despite all the talk and fuss that they have created against us, we still have a long way to go.
He said: Mr. Macron said with a very heavy rebuke and address that Iran has a very ambitious program that can no longer be controlled, now with a phrase to the effect that Iran must be contained; the field of innovations and new technologies is a field of war, not an area of interaction.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, stating that the basis of the war against Iran's nuclear program is its presence in the field of modern science and technology, said: "Today, the basis of the war against Iran's nuclear program and the hype that has been going on for more than 20 years is only because of its presence in the field of modern science and technology."
Eslami continued: "What is happening today on this issue more than before, political efforts and psychological operations are being carried out, and they are putting pressure and tightening the circle of pressure on the country, is because of this JCPOA agreement; we are in the tenth year of the JCPOA and Iran has fulfilled all its commitments, and the opposing parties do not want Iran to use the tenth year, they want to suppress it and not allow it to move forward and develop."
Regarding the production of heavy water in Iran, the Vice President stated: The heavy water that these people oppose and their intention was to open all its nuts and bolts and crush it is an extraordinary value chain that produces about 300 products and derivatives from heavy water, and each gram of this product costs several tens of thousands of dollars and is the basis of many elements used in modern technologies.
He emphasized: The opposing parties did not want Iran to benefit from this important capital, and today, by God's grace, the country has achieved this goal through endogenous research, and today we are a player and, despite all the disturbances they cause, we have a share in the international market and we are expanding it
