The number of Gaza journalist martyrs has reached 201
Since the start of its genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime has been deliberately targeting journalists and media professionals in an effort to keep the world from learning about its atrocities. However, Palestinian sources reported this morning that five journalists were killed in an airstrike by the occupying regime on a live broadcast vehicle of Al-Quds Al-Youm in the Nussirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip, while also bombing other parts of the Strip.
In a statement, Al-Quds Al-Youm offered its condolences for the martyrdom of five of its journalists: Muhammad Al-Lad'ah, Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Khalil Wafadi Hassuna, Ayman Al-Jadi, and Faisal Abu Al-Qamsan.
In addition to the numerous crimes the invaders have done against Palestinian journalists, the network reported that five of its journalists were slain while performing their humanitarian duties.
According to witnesses, five journalists were killed and the Quds Al-Youm live broadcast vehicle in front of Al-Awda Hospital in the Nussirat camp was entirely destroyed by a missile fired by Israeli airplanes.
Since the beginning of the Zionist regime's murderous war against the Gaza Strip, 201 journalists have been martyred, according to the government information office in the region.
The systematic atrocities committed by the Zionist regime on civilian people, including the murder of journalists and media personnel since the start of the Gaza war, are intended to silence the voice of truth and keep the world from learning about the full extent of this regime's savagery.
Numerous instances of Zionists targeting the families of media professionals in the Gaza Strip have been documented, and there is enough evidence that the occupying army actively threatens to kill journalists in the region. According to this, Israeli army troops have a practice of threatening journalists' families by locating their houses or housing centers and then specifically targeting them.
According to Carmen Jokhdar, an Al Jazeera correspondent in Lebanon, "the assassination of journalists and their families by the criminal Israeli army in the Gaza war has surpassed all crimes against media personnel in previous wars, including World War II."
