The possibility of Mossad's involvement in the terrorist operation in Moscow
Dr. Mohammad Ali Senobari told Mizan: “The method of execution and operational accuracy are remarkably similar to the patterns found in Mossad-attributed assassinations. In the past, the Israeli intelligence service has targeted people in Syria and Lebanon with such high-risk operations. To carry out missions with the least amount of risk to the agents involved, these incidents have frequently required sophisticated planning, cutting-edge technology, and a network of spies.
The assassination's strategic significance is further demonstrated by the selection of General Kirillov as the target. As a pivotal member of the Russian defense establishment, Kirillov's contribution to Russia's military might abroad extended beyond matters of national security. His passing not only undermines a crucial component of Russia's defense but also conveys to the Kremlin the weaknesses in its security system as a whole.”
Senobari stated: "Mossad's reputation as one of the world's most effective intelligence agencies is based on its ability to carry out cross-border assassinations. The organization has repeatedly shown that it is ready to act unilaterally to secure the security interests of the Israeli regime. Currently, Russian influence is seen as a new challenge for this regime. The similarities between the assassination of Kirillov, the commander of the Russian military-nuclear sphere, and previous Mossad operations cannot be ignored."
