Head of the Judiciary: We must review our interactions with the private sector
Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Mohseni Ejei in a meeting with economic activists, knowledge-based companies, and businessmen of Kermanshah stated: "The government cannot overcome problems without the activity and assistance of the private sector in many existing issues, especially macro and microeconomic issues,"
The Head of the Judiciary said: We must review our interactions with the private sector; I believe that the interactions of the relevant sectors of the country with the private sector in the current situation are not desirable.
"I emphasize that when the government and judiciary submit a bill to the parliament on issues that are somehow related to economic categories, the opinions of private sector activists should be obtained. Laws and regulations shouldn't be passed behind closed doors, and the views of private sector and economics field activists shouldn't be disregarded. When submitting economic-related measures to the government and parliament, we in the judiciary are willing to give you, economic activists, the majority of its content in order to get your feedback. " the head of the judiciary said.
The head of the judiciary stated: therefore, my emphasis is that you, as activists and economics experts, should not be apathetic when enacting a law and should offer your specialized opinions so that a comprehensive law that is in line with the interests of the country is formulated and approved. The nation's development and change shouldn't be impeded by the authorized law. A law intended to alleviate production hurdles, for instance, shouldn't become a barrier to production in and of itself. Naturally, we stress that a law is binding on all parties when it is passed.
Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Mohseni Ejei added: Economic activists in all sectors of the economy—trade, industry, agriculture, imports, exports, and so forth—need to be kind and merciful to one another; sometimes their rivalry turns vicious, and their aim is to bring down one another. I have emphasized the appropriate officials in the security and supervisory sectors to be cautious that an economic activist does not attempt to use them to bring down his rival.
According to the head of the judiciary, officials and members of guilds and unions should keep an eye on their subordinates, practice self-control, and make sure that their members do not break the law or evade it.
The head of the judiciary said: You economic activists, please assist us in the judiciary so that we can distinguish between someone who has committed corruption with the intention of making money and someone who has fallen because of a number of circumstances beyond his control. A distinction should be made between someone who knowingly and intentionally commits corruption and someone who falls because of poor management or a number of uncontrollable issues.
