The Iranian embassy in Syria has denied the rumors of theft by the hypocrites, stating that everything had been planned in detail before the evacuation of the diplomatic center.

The Iranian Embassy in Syria responded to rumors about the robbery of the diplomatic center by publishing a statement on its X social media account.

The statement states: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus emphasizes that there were no facilities or property in the embassy building during the attack and that everything was accurately predicted before the evacuation, and that the theft of $42 million was a rumor spread by the hypocrites for consumption inside Iran.

The Iranian ambassador to Syria, Hossein Akbari, had earlier said that the situation and events in Syria were entirely predictable. He said: Almost none of our colleagues from the various departments of the Islamic Republic were present here, and the necessary measures and precautions had been taken. My colleagues were also in Damascus until 11 pm and left the embassy, and some of them may have left the Syrian border this morning.

He stated: Fortunately, none of our colleagues in the embassy or our local forces were harmed; of course, precautions had been taken.
