The Zionist regime seeks to divide the region
In an interview with Mizan, Dr. Seyyed Reza Sadr al-Husseini stressed: "We saw that Takfiri terrorists in Syria acted and once again imposed insecurity on this country just after the ceasefire in the Lebanon war was declared and the Hezbollah defeated Zionists. Even Zionist publications have publicly acknowledged that Tel Aviv is responsible for the instability in Syria, demonstrating how serious these crimes were.
Dr. Sadr al-Husseini noted: "The Zionists' interests have now been more objectively served by Takfiri groups, with whom numerous reports of covert Zionist-Takfiri relations had previously been published. Additionally, American intervention was necessary for the recent Takfiri attack on Syria, and the US and its leaders are doing everything in their power to undermine the axis of resistance."
The analyst continued, "Although the Zionist regime failed to overthrow the Syrian political system and disintegrate the country in the ISIS crimes of 2012 to 2015, in these recent actions it seeks to disintegrate and overthrow the Syrian political system and sever the country's ties with the Lebanese resistance, and in return, disintegrate the region."
