The editor-in-chief of the Lebanese newspaper Al-Banna stated: The enemies of regional security want a weak Syria that is obedient to the West and the Zionist regime.

Nasser Qandil emphasized in an interview with Mizan: "Many of the infrastructures that have been and will be destroyed by the Zionists were built with the creative minds of Syrian scientists and designers and are considered exceptional capacities in the infrastructure-defense equations in this country. This is a sad scene. Warehouses and factories that were created with great effort and in order to protect the existence of Syria and the potential and actual attacks of the occupying regime are being destroyed in the shadow of the silence of international organizations."

"Those who have turned a blind eye to the recent crimes and aggressions of the Zionist occupation regime will realize the crisis they have created following the collapse of a central government in Damascus," the former Lebanese lawmaker continued. "There will undoubtedly be a new political scene in Syria in the near future. Those who are now celebrating the fall of the Assad government will come to regret their serious and irreversible error in judgment".
