Systematic Islamophobia in Europe

Hanif Ghaffari / Ph.D. in International Relations - According to official statistics from Germany, France, and England, racism and systematic Islamophobia have become a clear formula in Europe in the days leading up to the end of 2024, and we are seeing this trend grow and spread more and more every day. In Germany, attacks against Muslim immigrants have risen by roughly 52% from the previous year, and this trend is also evident in England and France.

The European police and security forces' establishment of a safe space for racists is one of the primary causes of this trend's escalation. The ability of Western police and security forces to manipulate racists and anti-immigrants toward Muslims, even if they have the intention of killing them, has now doubled.

Naturally, another dangerous turn in Western policymaking toward Muslims was inevitable when Western officials showed no concern for issues like the burning of the Holy Quran by anti-Islamic Swedish-Danish politician "Rasmus Palmudan" and saw it as a symbol of freedom of expression. However, the tragedy was brought to light last year when an elderly Muslim man in Birmingham set himself on fire as he was leaving a mosque. The Western legal and security system now provides sanctuary to these criminals.

Under the guise of freedom of expression, the Western media presents the problem of institutionalized racism and Islamophobia in their nations as though an extremist organization committed such a crime and Western governments are powerless to stop it! This skewed story is essentially untrue. It is impossible to conceal the part played by Western governments and intelligence services in fostering institutionalized Islamophobia in their nations. 

The link between racist organizations and the security services and formal institutions of power in the West is evident from the sharp rise in racist attacks on Muslims in France and Germany in 2024 as well as the ongoing persecution of Muslims by anti-Islamic organizations.

In the meantime, the United Nations and other international organizations are essentially doing nothing to combat Islamophobia in the West. Another aspect of this heinous and blatant display is the United States, Britain, and France's unique silence as the three permanent members of the UN Security Council about the tragedies that are occurring to Muslims in the West.

It is stressed that this kind of open and unrestricted (for the attackers) Islamophobia has a systematic component, indicating that it was created by think tanks connected to the Western power structure. Extremist, anti-Islamophobic, and anti-Quranic groups have not only acquired complete social maneuvering power in Western societies, but they have also risen to positions of official authority as a result of this methodical and obviously inhuman design.
